The leg vein health capsules containing
the active ingredient AS195®, a complex mixture of venoactive flavonoids (herbal
protective agents) from red vine leaf extract, are used for the treatment
and prevention of the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency: varicose
veins, oedema, pain and sensation of tension, as well as heavy, tired legs.
The sensation of heaviness disappears, water that has accumulated in the
legs is reduced. How is that achieved? The active ingredient of ANTISTAX®
strengthens and seals the connective tissue of the vessel walls. In
studies in human vein cells, it has been demonstrated that AS195® is very
efficacious, particularly in rendering the vessel wall impermeable. Water
does no longer leak into the tissue. If taken for a sufficient period of
time, ANTISTAX® leg vein health capsules may offer protection against
vein disorders, and may slow down the formation of incipient varicose
veins.
ANTISTAX® capsules offer the advantage of a
high, accurate dosage combined with simplified administration. The
long-term administration of two capsules daily is recommended for the
treatment and prevention of vein disorders.
The treatment of leg vein disorders can be optimised by the application of
a topical formulation of ANTISTAX®. They also contain red vine leaf
extract and help to comfort tired, heavy legs especially during hot season
or times where symptoms are felt more intensively.
